And I’d say for me my worst fear is waking up after a release and seeing nothing but 1 and 2 star reviews and learning everyone hated it. I’ve never seen that happen to a book, so it’s probably akin to the naked at school nightmare. Still, the fear is real. I rely on editors and beta readers to help thwart that fear…. and try to do my best at editing. And wish no one out there knew my pen name… because more and more I see people from my daily life following my pen name Instagram account… and it only makes my fear more intense! And for that, there’s rowing/exercise, my dog and wine.
